The City of Monash is a local government area in the south east of Melbourne, close to the city’s demographic centre.  With a population of almost 200,000 the municipality is recognised for it’s leafy green suburbs, and its cosmopolitan, culturally diverse and highly educated community.    It is a hub for research and business, having the largest economy in Victoria outside the City of Melbourne, and is a nett provider of jobs to the broader region.
