Monash University has been recognized as Australia’s top research institution in The Australian’s annual list of the country’s top researchers and research institutions.
Monash researchers held first place in 32 of the 250 academic fields identified, while Monash University as a whole ranked first in 53 fields, showing an improvement from the previous year.
The university attributed its research success to investments in research infrastructure and a focus on medical research, particularly in clinical research and clinical trials, emphasizing the importance of supporting research institutions with the necessary funds and resources for future work.
